About the Archive

The aim of this archive is to provide ready access to essays, volumes and conferences published by the School of Modern Languages. Because this archive complies with the OAI protocol, access to this material is available worldwide through search facilities that specifically focus on academic material - as well as through general search engines. Further information on these academic search facilities is available through pages in the University of Nottingham's eprint repository.

The advantages of Open Access archives like this are two-fold. For authors, material is made freely available worldwide, direct to individual's desktops, achieving rapid and global dissemination of their work. For researchers and scholars looking for material, such archives offer immediate, readily available access to world-class research and academic material either through browsing or searching individual archives, or through the search facilities of OAI service providers.

• You can also browse the archive, by subject, or by collection
• The material here is free for you to read and copy for non-commercial personal use. Use is also permitted for non-commercial educational use with students. Please include the full name of the author and bibliographic data when using the material
